Hannah Shami

Matron of Honor

Hannah is technically my aunt, but she’s always felt more like the big sister I didn’t ask for, but am forever grateful I got. She’s been there for me through every season of life, no matter how messy, dramatic, or downright ridiculous (and I mean literally. She’s been my pimple-popping partner-in-crime since the day acne entered the chat). Whether I need a hype woman, a voice of reason, or someone to scream-laugh with over nothing, Hannah is always there. Family by blood, bestie by choice.

Emily Burdolski

Bridesmaid

Emily is Nick’s sister, but she quickly became so much more, like the human version of a confetti cannon filled with chaos, laughter, and a lot of Busch Light. She’s the life of the party, the loudest hype woman in the room, and somehow also one of the most generous, thoughtful people I’ve ever met. She’s wild in the best way, fiercely loyal, and if there’s a good time happening, odds are, Emily started it.

Grace Carlsen

Bridesmaid

Grace and I were randomly assigned as roommates in Fayetteville when I moved down to be closer to Nick, proof that the universe sometimes gets it very right. She quickly became the kind of friend who will laugh with you at midnight, cry with you over Emily Mariko salmon rice bowls, and help take care of a cat that didn’t even belong to us. (Shoutout to our M.I.A. roommate.) When that roommate ghosted and moved out, we discovered the ultimate betrayal: cat sh*t left behind in a left behind litter box!. If Grace stuck with me through that, she’s not going anywhere.

Gillian Waters

Bridesmaid

Gillian was another surprise blessing from the universe, I was randomly assigned to live with her in Fayetteville, and thank God, because she made that chaotic year so much better. Together, we survived wrestling men as our upstairs neighbors, random life meltdowns, and most importantly… co-parenting our vanished roommate’s cat. The grand finale? Discovering a hidden pile of cat crap after she moved out. Through every mess (literal and emotional), Gillian has been the kind of friend you hope for and somehow get lucky enough to keep.
